Guangxi Art Institute (Guangxi? Art University (Guangyi for short) is one of the eight comprehensive undergraduate art colleges in China. It was jointly established by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is a public full-time college affiliated to the People's Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
It is an excellent university in undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of Education, a university with characteristics and advantages in Guangxi, a university founded by a doctoral unit in Guangxi, and an engineering university for basic capacity building in universities in central and western China. By September 23rd, 2022, official website showed that the school had four campuses, namely Nanhu Campus, Xiangsihu Campus, West Campus and Guilin Campus.
Conditions for running a school:
In February 2022, the school added music education and ceramic art design. By July 2022, the school had 16 teaching units, 1 art research institutes, 40 undergraduate majors and1/higher vocational majors, forming a relatively complete higher art education system. As of July, 2022, the school has more than 300 faculty members 1.300, including 395 with senior professional and technical positions, 95 full-time teachers 1 person and doctors1person.
Six people enjoy the special government allowance of the State Council, 1 person is selected in the national talent plan, 1 person is selected as the national cultural master and the "Four Groups" talents in Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China, 3 people are employed as Bagui scholars, 2 people are employed as Bagui young scholars, 5 people are awarded the title of "excellent experts" by the people's government of the autonomous region, 2 people are selected as Guangxi cultural masters and "Four Groups" talents, and 2 people are employed.
