Science education major belongs to pedagogy in professional disciplines, among which pedagogy major 10 ranks fourth in pedagogy and fifth in the whole pedagogy category. After graduation, students majoring in science education can serve as science and technology teachers in compulsory courses of comprehensive practical activities in primary and secondary schools, or as technology teachers in high schools.
