Several departments of the Education Bureau are introduced as follows:

It consists of five departments: office, policy and regulation research management office, personnel office, finance office and adult higher vocational education office.

The office is responsible for the comprehensive coordination of important government affairs and bureau affairs. The policy and regulation research management office is responsible for the comprehensive reform and development strategy research of education in China, and conducts policy research on major issues. The personnel department is responsible for personnel management, teacher rotation, commendation, rewards and punishments, and personnel management system reform in the national education system. The financial department shall, jointly with relevant departments, formulate relevant policies and regulations on the management and financing of education funds. The Department of Adult Higher Vocational Education is responsible for managing national vocational education and coordinating national higher education.

What are the main responsibilities of the Ministry of Education?

3, responsible for the national basic education (including preschool education), special education, vocational and technical education, after-school education, adult education, higher education (including social forces running schools), coordination, guidance and supervision of the education work of districts, counties (townships) and relevant departments.

4, responsible for the construction of national teachers and education administrative cadres, responsible for the national primary and secondary school principals qualification; Participate in the formulation of relevant policies and rules and regulations on personnel management in the national education system; Guide the reform of education and personnel system, and organize the implementation of employment distribution for graduates of normal universities.

5, overall management of the department's education funds; Participate in the formulation of laws and regulations on education financing, education loans, education fees and education infrastructure investment.
