Changsha Preschool Teachers College was established with the approval of Hunan Provincial People's Government, sponsored by Changsha Municipal People's Government and managed by Hunan Provincial Department of Education. Is a full-time public university, located in Changsha, Hunan Province. In June 2022, official website showed that there were 367 faculty members, including preschool education college, art college, information technology college, Marxism college, continuing education and international exchange college.

There are seven majors: preschool education, early education, dance education, art education, digital media application technology, dance performance, visual communication design and production. The school was founded on the basis of Ningxiang Normal School and Changsha Art Experimental School in Hunan Province, and started on 1903. In March 2020, it was established as Changsha Preschool Teachers College with the approval of Hunan Provincial People's Government.
