What are the frequently asked questions about studying in France? How to improve the success rate of visa?
Students applying for a visa to study in France need more than one threshold -CELA interview. Although China students who are used to exam-oriented education have experienced many exams, what they are most uncomfortable with is this irrelevant oral exam method. In fact, the CELA interview should be the same as the job interview that China students are constantly experiencing and familiar with, and it is not terrible. As long as there is a certain psychological and material preparation, it should not be difficult to deal with.

CELA Language Academic Evaluation Center is the official institution of the Cultural and Linguistic Cooperation Center of the French Embassy in China. The purpose of establishing a language and academic evaluation center is to know the authenticity of students' French level and professional education through interviews, and the interview results issued by it are the necessary documents for applying for a visa to study abroad.

Language and academic evaluation interviews were organized by CELA and conducted by French university teachers and French business people in China and Asia. The interview usually lasts about 15 minutes, and the interview content mainly includes four aspects: the oral expression ability of French or English (forum) (if the pre-registered school teaches in English), the educational level and academic level in China, the purpose and plan of studying in France, and the relationship between previous study and work experience and studying in France.

You need to register on the special website in advance to participate in the interview. Because there are many students who sign up for the interview, you should sign up as early as possible, at least three months before the expected departure date. The center will determine the time and place of the examination and inform the candidates that the candidates need to pay the examination fee of 65,438 yuan +0.500 yuan, excluding bank charges, which can be paid by transfer at any branch of China Bank. Students who have won the Eiffel Scholarship or the French Government Scholarship do not have to pay the registration fee.

Bring my ID card, academic materials (original) and other relevant documents to the Language and Academic Assessment Center for an interview on the agreed examination date. After the interview, the center will issue a certificate of interview results to the students who take the exam, and attach a notice to apply for a visa at the visa office of the French Embassy, so that students can show their transcripts when submitting their applications for studying abroad at the visa office.

Due to the interview results of CELA, the visa officer of the visa office of the French Embassy will not conduct the previous visa interview, which can improve the visa efficiency. If CELA's interview results are good and other materials are well prepared, students can get a visa one or two days after submitting their visa application. If the French level is difficult to meet the requirements of studying abroad, students who have no interview results or poor grades will be ruthlessly stopped at CELA.

Generally speaking, the French side requires all students of China nationality who want to study in France, or students of any nationality except France who live in China, to pass the language and academic evaluation interview. However, there are five exceptions. The reasons why these people apply for visas are: to take exams in France, to re-sign,/kloc-people under the age of 0/8, to go to France to participate in internships and engage in work in exchange for accommodation.

At present, apart from Hongkong, four cities in China have set up CELA test sites: Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Wuhan. Candidates can choose from them nearby.
