There is no Zhejiang Education Press, which was established in September, 1983. It is a local education professional press. Since its establishment, it has been aiming at serving education, prospering academics and accumulating culture. Mainly engaged in the publication and distribution of teaching materials, teaching reference books, cultural and educational reading materials, popular reading materials and academic works such as pedagogy, psychology and literature. Since 1990s, Zhejiang Education Press has entered the track of rapid development. The average number of books published each year has increased from nearly 100 in the early days to more than 2,000 in recent years. Thousands of books won prizes in national and provincial book awards and were rated as excellent publishers by the Press and Publication Administration.
