Chifeng College was established on April 6, 2003 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It was formed by the merger of Chifeng Teachers College for Nationalities, Chifeng Education College and Chifeng Branch of Inner Mongolia Radio and TV University, and at the same time, it was merged into some resources of Chifeng Health School and Inner Mongolia Kindergarten Normal School. College was born in Chifeng City, the birthplace of the world-famous "Hongshan Culture".
