Zhong Ping, male, was born in August 1956. He is currently the deputy director of the AIDS/STD/Leprosy Department of Shanghai Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the deputy director of the AIDS Immunology Research Office of Shanghai Institute of Preventive Medicine, and the deputy director and researcher of Shanghai AIDS Research Center. Professor Zhong Ping has been engaged in the research of HIV virology and molecular epidemiology at home and abroad for a long time.
The molecular epidemiological study of HIV in Shanghai and other provinces and cities mainly includes the use of multi-gene analysis, full-length gene analysis and bioinformatics analysis to study the genetic variation and evolution of HIV virus in different infected people, as well as the emergence and evolution of HIV drug-resistant strains.
Professor Zhong Ping has published dozens of articles about AIDS research at home and abroad (including SCI 17 articles).
