Lexianfang Primary School in Liwan District, Guangzhou was founded on 1945. 1994 was awarded the first batch of provincial schools in Guangdong province. 1983 is the first parent school in China. 1986 was named as an excellent parent school by the All-China Women's Federation and the Ministry of Education, and 1988 was named as a national advanced school for moral education, a national modern technology experimental school and a national four-in-one advanced school for Chinese experiment by the State Education Commission.
