Official website, headed by Beijing Student Information Consulting Service Center, is the official website of student information service in private colleges and universities. This system is developed as a public information service platform in order to effectively prevent and combat the forgery of certificates by graduates who are not recruited by private colleges, safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of employers and graduates, strengthen certificate management, and standardize online inquiry of non-academic certificates.
In February 2009, under the leadership of the Institute of Private Education, the only private higher education student information network in China, referred to as "Private Education Network", was established by well-known domestic private education institutions, trade associations, research institutes and experts and scholars. After half a year's test, official website finally went online. The opening of private education network has been warmly welcomed by domestic private colleges and universities, People's Network, China Network, CCTV Network, Sina, Sohu and Netease.
