Chengdu Medical College is a full-time general medical college organized by Sichuan Provincial People's Government. Its history can be traced back to the training courses for health cadres held in Henan and Anhui Soviet areas from 65438 to 0947. In August 2004, according to the decision of the State Council and the Central Military Commission, the whole school was handed over to the Sichuan Provincial People's Government for management, and was renamed Chengdu Medical College from the Third Military Medical University.
The school has 12 master's degree authorization points (8 master's degree authorization points: clinical medicine, pharmacy, public health, applied psychology, nursing, biology and medicine, public management, agriculture, 4 master's degree authorization points: clinical medicine, basic medicine, medical technology, Marxist theory), 23 undergraduate majors and 5 specialist majors.
