Where is Min Zikai's hometown?
Min Zikai is a famous cultural tiger in history. Not only Jinan, Qufu, Wenshang and other counties and cities in Shandong listed him as a local celebrity, but also Suzhou in Anhui and Fanxian in Henan joined the battle for "the hometown of Minzi". The following is my collection of Min Zikai's hometown. I hope it helps you.

Min ziqian's hometown

The earliest record of Min Ziqian's birthplace is Sima Qian's Historical Records. Tai Shigong said in the article "The Biography of Disciples": "Min Zi's reputation was damaged, and he was also from Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period." As for where Lu came from, Tai Shigong did not elaborate. So, where is Minzi from? To understand this problem, we must first know the scope of Lu. As we all know, Min Zikai was born in the late Spring and Autumn Period. At that time, the scope of Shandong included Jinan, Jining, Heze and other southeastern and southern Shandong regions. From this perspective, it can be said that Min Zikai was born in Jinan or Qufu, Jining. As for Wenshang, it was within the scope of Qi at that time and basically did not need to be considered. Later generations listed it as Minzi's birthplace, probably because he once said, "Answer me, I am in Wenshang."

In addition, because Anhui and Henan were not within the scope of Lu at that time, the statement that Suzhou in Anhui and Fanxian in Henan were Min Zikai's birthplace can also be denied. Many people mistakenly think that these two places are Minko's hometown because both places have Minko's cemetery. Since there is a cemetery, many people naturally take it for granted that their birthplace is here, and it is inevitable to spread false information for tourism.

Next, analyze Jinan and Qufu. Jinan is considered to be the birthplace of Minziqian, probably because of the existence of Minziqian's tomb. In addition, Su Dongpo's "Jizhou Minzi Temple" seems to have added some evidence, but these can't prove that Min Zikai was born in Jinan. What about Qufu? There is no clear record in the historical records that Min Zikai was born in Qufu, but later generations thought that the transportation was not very convenient during the Spring and Autumn Period, so all the early disciples of Confucius were from Qufu, so Min Zikai was also from Qufu as an early disciple of Confucius.

It is impossible for a person to have multiple birthplaces, and Min Zikai lived a long time ago, so it is difficult for people today to know the answer to the question "Where is Min Zikai's birthplace?".

Legend of Minziqian

Min Zikai, a figure in the late Spring and Autumn Period, is a proud pupil of Confucius and a dutiful son in China history. The story of Min Ziqian's filial piety to his mother was listed in the Twenty-four Filial Pieties in the Yuan Dynasty, and his filial piety was widely known. According to Sima Qian's Historical Records in the Western Han Dynasty, Min Ziqian was abused by his stepmother when he was a teenager. Only reed flowers made him winter clothes, but the second son could wear cotton-padded clothes. On one occasion, Min Ziqian went out with his father, who ordered him to drive. His hands were cold and he couldn't catch the reins. Father didn't know, reprimanded him for being lazy, whipped him with a whip, and his clothes were torn and the reeds flew out, so his father knew the truth. After returning home, he wants to divorce his wife and make a quick decision. Zi Qian knelt down and begged his father, saying, "Mother is colder than one son, and mother goes to the third." Only then did his father forgive his stepmother. Since then, the stepmother has regarded Min Zikai as her own child. Confucius once praised Min Zikai for "filial piety, Min Zikai! People are not in the words of their parents. " This sentence was included in The Analects of Confucius, and Min Ziqian's filial piety was praised by later generations and listed as one of the "Twenty-four Filial Pieties" by both Yuan and Ming Dynasties. Later generations have a poem praising Min Zikai: Min has a good husband and never complains about his stepmother. The mother stood in front of the car and the third son was protected from the wind and frost.

Besides filial piety, Min Zikai's virtue in other aspects is also praised. For example, Min Zikai advocates frugality. When he was an official in Lu, the court wanted to build a new warehouse. Min Zikai said: Now that the warehouse is ready, why waste manpower and material resources to build a new one? This word reached the ears of Confucius and praised him: "Madam, if you don't say it, you will have it. If you say it, it will mean something." This means that this person usually doesn't talk much, and when he opens his mouth, he gets to the point. Confucius praised Min Zikai many times in public, which shows that Confucius is very satisfied with this high disciple.

Minziqian tomb

Min Zikai is one of the seventy-two sages of Confucius. He died in qi zhou (now Jinan), and there is a tomb of Min Ziqian in Anhui, Lu Yu.

Jinan Minziqian Tomb is located in the Museum of Filial Piety Culture, on the north side of the temple, with a convex circle, and the paddock is five meters long and three meters high. There are stone statues of horses, sheep and lions on both sides of the tomb. Min Zikai is a famous disciple of Confucius and is famous for his filial piety to the world. All previous dynasties sealed him, so his cemetery was relatively large in his early years. It is said that _ _ _ years ago, Minziqian's tomb covered an area of 60,000 square meters, with a height of more than ten meters and a length of eight meters, surrounded by towering old trees and numerous inscriptions. But in the 1960s, the cemetery was severely damaged, ancient trees were cut down, ancestral halls were demolished and inscriptions were destroyed. In recent years, with the efforts of all parties, Minziqian Cemetery has been repaired, and the local government has built a museum of filial piety culture here as a filial piety culture education base.

There is also a Minziqian cemetery in Fan County, Henan Province. Minziqian Tomb in Fanxian County is located in the southeast of the county seat. It is more than one meter high and eight or nine meters in circumference. Because of its proximity to the Yellow River, it has been washed away repeatedly, and officials of past dynasties have donated money to repair it many times. According to Fan County Records, Chen Kuichu, the county magistrate in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, and Tang Shengxiu, the county magistrate in Jiaqing period of Qing Dynasty, both invested in repairing the tomb shrine.

Another cemetery of Min Ziqian is located in Minci Village, Suzhou City, Anhui Province. The Minzi Tomb here is 6 meters high and 40 meters long, with a total area of about 6,000 square meters. There are dense pines and cypresses around the cemetery, so that "the pine wind in the tomb of Min" has become a scene in Suzhou. Coexisting with the cemetery is the Min Temple built in the Song Dynasty. Up to now, there are more than ten pavilions, with ancient ginkgo trees in the temple and Minzi's former residence outside the temple. Although Min Zikai died in Jinan, no one knows where Min Zikai was buried. The function of his cemetery is only to mourn and learn his spirit for future generations.
