China Communication University is the first batch of "double first-class" universities directly under the Ministry of Education, with "2 1 1 engineering" as the key university and "985 Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" as the key university. The school was founded in 1954, and was renamed China Communication University by Beijing Broadcasting Institute in August 2004.
The school is located on the bank of the ancient canal in Beijing, between the functional core area of the capital and the Beijing sub-center, with convenient transportation and obvious location advantages. The campus has a beautiful environment, covering an area of 463,700 square meters and a total construction area of 638,800 square meters.
Since its founding 67 years ago, the school has been adhering to the motto of "having both ability and political integrity, being dedicated, being knowledgeable and being competitive first", and taking it as its own responsibility to train media people who are "respecting morality and managing the world", and has trained a large number of outstanding media talents that the party and the country need, can meet the future media challenges and gallop on the international stage. It has made important contributions to the media cause and economic and social development of the Party and the country, and is known as the "cradle of China radio and television media talents".
Three Media Colleges in China
Zhejiang Media College, referred to as "Zhejiang Biography", is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. It is a university jointly established by the State Administration of Radio and Television and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. He has been selected into the National College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program, the National Model School for Standardization of Language and Characters, and the Zhejiang Application-oriented Construction Pilot Model School.
Its predecessor was Zhejiang Radio and Television College, which was merged in 2000 by Zhejiang Radio and Television College (founded in 1978) and Zhejiang Radio and Television College (founded in 1984). In 2004, the college was officially renamed as Zhejiang Media College.
Shanxi Media College, referred to as "Shanxi Media", is a university jointly founded by the State Administration of Radio and Television of the People's Republic of China and the People's Government of Shanxi Province. It is one of the main bases for training media professionals such as radio, film and television in China. Over the years, it has trained a large number of professionals for the central government and various media fields at all levels, and is known as "Old Huaguang" in the industry.
The North China Radio and Television School, formerly established by the former Ministry of Radio and Television 1983, the Management Cadre College of the Ministry of Radio, Film and Television 1990, and the Shanxi Media College were established in April 20 13. On 20 16, the school and Shanxi University formally signed a pilot contract to jointly train professional degree graduates. Master's degree was awarded in 20 18.
