Author of "Great Teaching Theory"
The author of the great teaching theory is Jan Amos Komensky. On Great Teaching is an educational classic written by Czech educator Comenius, which was completed at 1632. This book mainly discusses the problems of teaching theory. Comenius believes that teaching theory refers to the art of teaching. The book clearly puts forward a series of teaching principles and rules, discusses various teaching methods, draws up the curriculum of schools at all levels, establishes the basic organizational form of school teaching, formulates the principle requirements for compiling teaching materials, and makes specific provisions on how teachers can have a good class. Great pedagogy is the beginning of the formation of an independent discipline of pedagogy. Although it has inevitable historical limitations, it has extensively and deeply discussed various problems in education, summed up the history and teaching experience at that time, and put forward many valuable opinions. It is the earliest systematic pedagogy work in modern western countries, which laid the foundation for the establishment of modern pedagogy, laid the basic framework of modern pedagogy, and marked the separation of pedagogy from the field of comprehensive knowledge and became the starting point of an independent discipline. This book laid the foundation of teaching theory and became a classic of teaching theory.
