Zuo Ye 1926 joined the Ji 'an Trade Union, 1927 joined the Red Army, marked the Long March and the Western Expedition, and later served as head, brigade commander and division commander. After 1949, he served as the division commander of the Fourth Field Army 4 1 Army 12 1, the deputy commander and chief of staff of the Central South Public Security Army, and the 54th deputy commander. 1952 after changing jobs, he served as deputy minister of communications of the Central South Military and Political Committee, deputy director of the Finance and Economics Committee, assistant minister of the Central Ministry of Agriculture, secretary of the Party Committee, director of personnel, and vice chairman of the Chongqing Municipal Political Consultative Conference. Persecuted during the Cultural Revolution, he returned to China Academy of Agricultural Sciences as a consultant to the Ministry of Agriculture. 1992 died in Beijing.
