After a simple understanding, I learned that Zhu's disciples had two brothers, the elder brother named Lin and the younger brother named Lin, who lived in Guixi, a township. Invited by a friend, I chose a cloudy day and drove to visit Yukawa. On the way to Tang Chuan, the tour guide told Meng Xue and Lv Xue that they were cousins and studied under their grandfather Lin Zhichun, and they boarded Wang Anbang as a scholar in the first year (118), which further aroused the interest of this group of people.
The car is driving on the winding mountain road, with green hills on both sides facing each other, and the forest is deep and beautiful. Although it is early winter, it is still rich in green. The car stopped at Yantou Natural Village, Yangxing Village, and the village cadres waited here. After getting off the bus, Brother Zhao pointed to a red brick and blue tile house hidden in bamboo forest on the other side of the river and said, "Opposite Xiaban, Lin Zhichun's old house is opposite."
Looking at the overgrown land opposite, I was a little disappointed, which was far from the imagined Jinshi Mansion. But on second thought, it has been nearly a thousand years now, what can you expect? It's easy to ask, "Are there any bodies?" A village cadre replied, "Yes, there are many stone foundations." As soon as this word came out, it aroused everyone's interest again, so we had to go to the other side to find out.
When we reached the other shore, we were not disappointed. Among the weeds, there are a large number of orderly stone foundations. Through them, we can vaguely distinguish where is the purlin, where is the wing, where is the courtyard, where is the fence and where is the eternal road, so that we can completely build a magnificent castle-like building in our minds and build it on the mountain.
According to the story of the ancestors told by my brother, the site has added more humanistic colors. Lin Zhichun's grandfather, Lin Yu, whose real name is Yangmei, and his two sons, Lin Yuan and Lin Kang, moved to Guixi (also known as Xi Gu) in Yimei Youxi County, Minqing County. Lin's two sons: Lin Yun and. Lin Yun moved to Xu Shui (now Yangxing) and was the ancestor of Xu Shui. Lin moved to Zhu Xi, the ancestor of Zhu Xi. Clear pronunciation and clear pronunciation, Lin Yun was persecuted to death for opposing Tong Guan and Cai Jing's ultra vires. Afraid of being killed by children and Cai again, he took his family to take refuge in Yongfu County (now Yongtai County) and returned to Youxi until Lin Xue.
With the village cadres, they brought a copy of Bi Rengong's Genealogy by Yang Xinglin, which recorded the relevant information of Lin and Lin. Meng Xue and Lv Xue, two brothers, never wanted to be officials because of the disaster of pure public thought. They learn from Zhu, and also from Zhu's apprentice Cai and Zhu's son-in-law. Lin, with clear pronunciation and mellow voice, is fond of plum. He planted hundreds of plum trees in his residence, and the fragrance of each flower wafted everywhere, so he called himself Mei Wu. This elegance reminds people of a hermit who married Mei. Lin has studied the Book of Changes. Zhu Zeng and Lin Zhengqing wrote a book to discuss the Book of Changes. Meng Xue was the dean of Shannan College in Yanping Prefecture, and he also saw his extraordinary achievements in Neo-Confucianism.
Leaving Yantou, the car went along the mountain road, arrived at the International Village and stopped in front of an ugly-looking ancient building. Walking into the temple, I found that there was a hole inside this ugly ancient building. At first glance, the plaque of "Rong En Hall" seems to tell the world that this building is related to the powerful imperial grace. The plaque of "the simple heart of the emperor" hanging high in the main hall was incomprehensible at the moment. After reading Ode to the Millennium on the wall, I realized that Lin, the ancestor of Guixi, met the 19th kindergarten teacher of Emperor Kangxi. After retiring in his later years, Emperor Kangxi gave him a royal gift to build a "main hall" in his hometown to show his gratitude. The origin of "simplicity of emperor's heart" in The Analects of Confucius Yao Yue is "simplicity of emperor's heart", which means that he is known and appreciated by the emperor.
Kangxi is an excellent emperor, and his Excellence is of course inseparable from excellent education. It can be said that it is the subtle influence of Lin Shiyan and other imperial history that makes Kangxi become an emperor who shines in history. What's more, a person's character and mind are often cultivated from an early age. As the first kindergarten teacher of Kangxi, Lin Shiyan had a far-reaching influence on Kangxi.
Not far from Rong 'en Hall, there is the Xu Shui Lins Ancestral Hall, with red paint and blue tiles and white walls, which is particularly eye-catching. The vertical belt in front of the ancestral hall is stamped, and the slate has been broken into pieces, telling that there was a fire here a few years ago. The courtyard in the ancestral temple, with four waters and one layout, is a major feature of Huizhou architecture, which means that the hope of "rich water does not flow to outsiders" and "financial resources are rolling in" is rare in buildings in central Fujian.
After leaving the Lins ancestral temple in Xu Shui, Brother Zhao told us a legend of "Nanshan the Great", which was absurd and unbelievable. However, the Longxi Ancestral Temple in the international marine natural village related to the story aroused our interest and drove to Longxi Ancestral Temple.
Longxi is a tributary of Xinlingxi, with clear streams and rugged rocks. I don't know where the car went, and the Longxi Ancestral Temple is just around the corner. When we got off the bus, we found the baby in the stream. On a pillow stone in the stream, the word "Longxi" is engraved in regular script. That font is somewhat similar to Zhu's handwriting. I wonder if this is written by Zhu. Not far from the stone carving, there is a remote corner of Longxi ancestral hall, which is dedicated to Chen Xianggong. According to Brother Zhao, this used to be a primary school. He is studying here, pointing to a corner and telling us where his seat is.
I thought I had visited all the historical sites related to Lin, and this trip should be over. Brother Zhao told us that there is also a public memorial hall in Zhuxi Natural Village of Xibin Village. The Lins of Zhuxi and Xu Shui are descendants of the Lins of Guixi. So, we rushed to Zhuxi non-stop.
Lin's grandfather and Lin Yun (Lin Zhichun) are brothers. Xue Lu Memorial Hall was originally the Lins' Ancestral Hall in Zhuxi, probably built in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in 1990s. Brother Zhao told us that when it was rebuilt, it was renamed the public memorial hall in order not to cause trouble, which shows the cleverness and cuteness of the Lin family.
When you walk into the Palace Memorial Hall, you will see a stone tablet in front of the moat, engraved with the words "imperial edict", which is another building related to the royal favor. Xue Lv Gong Memorial Hall is five rooms in width and huge in scale. It is covered with various plaques and tells the glorious history of Lin. 、
After so many points, it is proved that the Lin family in Guixi is a family with excellent family style and respect for education. In modern times, the Lin family in Guixi is still thriving. From Yangxing Village and Xibin Village alone, there are many rural sages, including department-level leaders and doctoral students, who silently contribute to society and hometown. Guixi has also developed into a 4A national scenic spot-Xi Gu Xinghe Leisure Tourism Resort. It is a holiday valley with the theme of "fishing and firewood farming and reading culture+mountain and country summer vacation+ecological residence", with pavilions, poetry and wine as the carrier and colorful seasons, ancient customs and leisure and wild interests as the main tone.
While exploring the past, I can't help thinking, what is the reason why the Lin family has been enduring in Guixi? This remains to be further explored by people with lofty ideals.
