An Overview of the Beginning of The Story of the Great Rejuvenation
The birth of China * * * is the objective need of China's revolutionary development and the product of the combination of Marxism and China's workers' movement. 1840 After the Opium War, the forces of international capitalism and imperialism invaded China, and the social structure of China gradually evolved from a feudal society to a semi-colonial and semi-feudal society. From the Opium War to the May 4th Movement, the people of China fought bravely and unyieldingly against imperialism and feudal rule, mainly the peasant war of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and the Revolution of 1911 led by the bourgeoisie, but they all failed one after another. History has proved that neither the peasant class nor the national bourgeoisie in China can lead the democratic revolution to victory because of their historical and class limitations. With the invasion of imperialism and the development of modern industry, the proletariat came into being in China, and it is constantly growing. By 19 19, the number of industrial workers has increased to about 2 million. The emergence and development of the proletariat laid a class foundation for the establishment of China. 19 17 The victory of the Russian October Revolution brought Marxism–Leninism to China, and made the advanced elements in China find the truth of saving the country and the people. The wide spread of Marxism–Leninism in China laid the ideological foundation for the establishment of China. 19 19 The May 4th Movement, which broke out, promoted the combination of Marxism and the workers' movement in China, and made ideological and cadre preparations for the establishment of China. 1920 At the beginning of this year, Li Dazhao and Chen Duxiu began to explore the idea of building a party. In April, the Russian Communist Party (Bolshevik) Siberian Bureau sent Vikinsky and his party to China to learn about the situation in China and investigate whether the East Asian Secretariat of the Comintern could be established in Shanghai. They first met with Li Dazhao in Beijing, and then Li Dazhao introduced them to Shanghai to meet with Chen Duxiu to discuss the issue of party building, which promoted the establishment of China. Since May, Chen Duxiu has repeatedly invited Li, Li Da, Yu Xiusong and others to discuss the issue of party building. In August, Chen Duxiu established the China Enlightenment Group in Shanghai. On June+10, 5438, Li Dazhao established a communist group in Beijing. Then, early party organizations were established in Hunan, Hubei, Shandong, Guangdong and other places. At the same time, in France and Japan, advanced elements among overseas students also formed early party organizations. At that time, these organizations had different names, some called * * *, and some called * * * groups or branches. Because of the same nature, they were later collectively referred to as local communist groups. After the establishment of local communist groups, various revolutionary activities were carried out. In order to widely spread Marxism-Leninism thought of party building and make it unified, 1 In September, 920, the Shanghai Enlightenment Group changed the magazine "New Youth" (starting from Volume 8,No.1) into a public publication of the party; In the same year, 165438 10, the * * * Monthly was published and secretly distributed in major cities in China. This is the first party magazine in the history of China. New Youth Publishing House has also translated and published Marxist-Leninist classics such as the Manifesto, State and Revolution, and various popular pamphlets promoting Marxism. Communist organizations in various places have also established many popular publications for workers, such as Working World in Shanghai, Voice of Labor and Workers' Monthly in Beijing, Jinan Labor Monthly in Jinan and Workers' Monthly in Guangzhou, in order to educate workers' class consciousness. On this basis, local communist groups actively went deep into workers, held night classes for workers and established trade union organizations. Socialist youth leagues have also been established in various places and a number of league members have been developed. The Youth League has become a powerful assistant and reserve force of the Party. 192 1 In March, with the advice and support of the Far East Bureau of the Russian Communist Party and the Comintern, representatives of various communist groups were held, the party's purpose and principles were declared, the provisional program was formulated, the party's work organization and work plan were established, and the attitude of the party organizations towards the socialist youth league, trade unions, guilds, cultural and educational organizations and the army was demonstrated. This meeting made necessary preparations for the founding of the Party. Shortly after Vikinsky returned to China, in June of 192 1, the Comintern sent Ma Lin to Shanghai. They suggested that the Party's National Congress be held to formally establish China. Under the auspices of Li Da, the sponsor group of Shanghai Party made preparations for the national congress and sent a letter to local party organizations asking them to send two representatives to attend the congress. Representatives from Beijing, Hankou, Guangzhou, Changsha, Jinan and Japan all arrived in Shanghai on July 23rd. On July 23rd,1921-31,the first national congress of China was held in Shanghai. The General Assembly adopted the first program and resolution of China. The program stipulates that the name of the party is "China * *"; The nature of the party is a proletarian party; The party's goal is to overthrow the bourgeoisie, abolish capital ownership, establish proletarian dictatorship and realize socialism and communism; The basic task of the party is to engage in various activities of the workers' movement and strengthen the research and leadership of trade unions and workers' movements. The Congress elected the Central Committee, the leading body of the Party, with Chen Duxiu as the secretary, Zhang as the organizer and Li Da as the propagandist. The first congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) announced the formal establishment of China. Since then, a brand-new working-class party with communism as its aim and Marxism–Leninism as its action guide has been born in China. The establishment of China * * * brought light and hope to the disaster-stricken people of China and pointed out the direction for the China revolution. As Mao Zedong said, the establishment of China is an epoch-making event. After the establishment of China * *, China's revolution took on a new look. As the "first congress" of the party was held in July, it was difficult to find files and it was impossible to verify the specific opening date during the war years. Therefore, in June of 194 1 year, on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the founding of the Party, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China officially issued a document, stipulating that July of 1 year is the anniversary of the birth of the Party. It was not until the end of 1970s that the opening date of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China was clearly verified by party history workers. According to the newly discovered historical materials and research results, the opening date of the first congress is determined to be 192 1 year on July 23rd.
