1949, Hangzhou was liberated, Zhangpei Girls' Middle School merged, and the school moved to Guo Zhuang, Wolong Bridge, West Lake. 1June, 956, it was changed to a public school and renamed Hangzhou No.1 junior high school. The school moved to the new campus of Song Yue Road (that is, the current campus of the affiliated middle school of Zhejiang University, No.89 Shuguang Road). 1959, the school was renamed the middle school affiliated to Zhejiang University. 1972, the school was placed under the leadership of Hangzhou Education Bureau and renamed as Hangzhou No.15 Middle School. 1992 The name of the school was restored to the middle school affiliated to Zhejiang University. 1996 was recognized as a provincial key middle school. In the same year, Qiushi Middle School was merged to meet the requirement of Hangzhou Education Commission to "expand the scale of running a school and give full play to the school-running effect of key middle schools", and the original site became a branch school attached to Zhejiang University. At the beginning of 2000, the high school was separated from the high school, and the high school was in the original school site, using the original school name. The junior high school moved to the original campus (Yugu Road 165) to run independently, and the old school name was "Hangzhou No.15 Middle School". In 2002, the school accepted the newly-built Xixi Campus. In 2004, as the only junior high school in Xihu District, it joined Qiantang Foreign Language School, the first prestigious education square in China. On April 23rd, 2005, Hangzhou No.15 Middle School Education Group was established. In order to realize the sharing of high-quality educational resources in Hangzhou and launch the city brand of "Learning in Hangzhou", it continued to play a pioneering role.
