How to Implement Emotional Education in English Teaching
With the all-round promotion of quality education and new curriculum reform, the new primary school English curriculum puts special emphasis on paying attention to each student's emotion. How to infiltrate emotional education in primary school English classroom? I will talk about my basic views based on my own experience. American educator Bloom said: "A student who studies with positive emotions should learn more easily and faster than those who lack enthusiasm, fun and interest, or those who are anxious and afraid of learning materials." Therefore, teachers should attach importance to emotional coordination with students in primary school English teaching, fully mobilize students' positive learning emotions, make students' emotions in a full state, and thus promote students' learning and practical ability. So how to infiltrate emotional teaching in the process of English education in primary schools? According to practical experience, I will talk about my own experience. A kind of care for students-the emotional foundation. Su Mi Holinsky, a Soviet educator, once said, "Education is the most subtle contact between people's hearts. If we want our students to grow up to be real citizens who have a sense of obligation and responsibility, are kind and firm, gentle and strict, love beautiful things and hate ugly behaviors, we should treat him sincerely. " Therefore, if teachers want to succeed in teaching, they should not only have a persistent love for education, but also pay attention to emotional input. With their sincere love, enhance the emotional communication between teachers and students: "heart to heart, heart to heart", so that students have a sense of intimacy and trust, thus arousing students' love for teachers, thus stimulating students' strong interest in the subjects they teach, so that students can get emotional incentives and generate motivation to make progress. Therefore, in primary school English teaching, harmonious teacher-student relationship is the basis of positive emotion between teachers and students. Second, a good teaching environment-emotion promotes modern life education theory, teaching environment is an important factor affecting children's subjective development. Putting students in specific situations is not only conducive to the development of children's cognitive psychology, but also can effectively mobilize children's emotional participation, thus improving learning efficiency. Piaget, a psychologist at 1, once said, "All effective work must be based on certain interests." Teachers should try their best to stimulate children's interest in learning, learn knowledge with happiness, turn knowledge into a happy thing and get emotional satisfaction. The main purpose of English teaching in primary school English stage is to stimulate students' interest in English, make them dare to speak boldly, gain some perceptual knowledge of English, lay a good foundation and develop good study habits. Emotional blending between teachers and students is one of the driving forces to mobilize students to actively participate in learning and activities. 1( 1) Seeking suitable teaching content The topic of the text affects the choice of language materials, and the form of activities is the forerunner of the choice and application of classroom teaching methods. For example, fantastic fairy tales such as animals, plants, natural phenomena and celestial changes are most interesting to children; Children and songs full of distinct sense of rhythm and rhythm are also interested in language materials that satisfy their listening and oral communication. In teaching, if the teaching content full of childlike interest is reflected in the language form that children love to see and hear, and the activities are coordinated, then under the influence of children's interest, more remarkable teaching effects can be achieved. 1(2) Make full use of various teaching methods. Suhomlinski said: "If you expect to increase students' interest in learning and courses on the surface, you will never cultivate students' real love for mental work. We must try our best to let students discover the source of interest in person and make them feel that they have made efforts and made progress in this discovery, which is itself a major source of interest. " Under the guidance of teachers, students will be more interested when they can understand the dialogues of cartoon characters, express their wishes and feelings in simple English, read some simple books or sing some songs, or perform sketches in English. For example, I am teaching and asking about the weather, and organizing students to be meteorologists at the meteorological station. When a tourist asks him, "What's the weather like in Fujian?" Sunny weather and so on can be used to answer. In this kind of activity, the language scene is vividly reflected, and students have the feeling of being there. For example, when I teach food words, such as corn, yam and pumkin pie, I always prepare these foods in advance, then show them one by one and learn their corresponding words. When consolidating, play pictures of words such as corn with multimedia to see which student says the corresponding word first. The whole class was in high spirits, and the students soon mastered the words they had taught. 2 The influence of teachers In the process of education, many students are influenced by teachers, so they have a strong interest in the subjects they have studied and finally achieved remarkable results. English teachers' personality, extensive knowledge, skilled skills (professional skills and teaching skills), various abilities and emotional development will directly affect students' learning attitude. A young teacher who loves English major and knows how to teach will transfer his interest in English to students, thus promoting students to devote themselves to English learning with greater enthusiasm. Combs put forward the concept of "self" in his book Teachers' Professional Education. He thinks that a good teacher is first of all a person, a person with a unique personality, a teacher who knows how to use "self", tends to look at himself in a positive way, and has a sense of self-satisfaction, self-confidence and self-worth. Teachers who are confident and committed to English teaching in Yu Xiaoxue will eventually win the love of students and become their role models. Third, the correct evaluation form-emotional supplement "English curriculum standards" and "basic requirements for English curriculum teaching in primary schools" clearly point out that the evaluation of students should focus on formative evaluation, focusing on students' interest, attitude and communication ability in participating in various English teaching activities. Contemporary education fully embodies the educational values based on student development. This kind of educational values determines the viewpoints and methods of teaching evaluation, highlights the foothold of teaching evaluation serving students' development, and pays attention to students' healthy physical and mental growth, which is conducive to the formation of positive emotions and attitudes and the development of students' potential and comprehensive language ability. For example, at ordinary times, I fill in the contents of the formative evaluation report of English subjects and write teachers' comments through self-evaluation, students' mutual evaluation, class evaluation and teachers' evaluation, so that students can clearly see their achievements and progress, get timely encouragement and affirmation, and establish self-confidence and sense of accomplishment. In short, in English teaching, only when students have positive feelings about themselves, English and its culture, and English learning, can they maintain their motivation for English learning and achieve good results. Negative emotions will not only affect the effect of English learning, but also affect the long-term development of students. Therefore, in English teaching, teachers should pay attention to students' emotions from beginning to end and strive to create a relaxed and harmonious teaching atmosphere.
