Li Run is a virtuous daughter-in-law. In Lanzhou, the couple lived in the rest garden of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, chiseling Shen Xuan. The peony in the garden is in full bloom, and the tallest one has reached the eaves. They often sing poems and have a good relationship. In the 15th year of Guangxu (1889), Li Run gave birth to a son named Chuanduo in Lanzhou, but he fell ill in less than a year and never gave birth again. Tan sitong traveled all over the north and south, trying to become famous. It is quite hard for Li Run to do housework alone, raise relatives and take care of his nephew. But there is a tacit understanding between husband and wife, and they understand each other. The 24th year of Guangxu (1898) was the 15th anniversary of their marriage. Tan Sitong wrote a poem specially for Li Run. The poem says, "For fifteen years, my classmates taught me how to support my nephew Lai Junxian." In August of the 24th year of Guangxu (1September, 898), the Western Empress Dowager staged a coup, and Tan Sitong died generously. At that time, Mrs Li Run didn't know. It was not until Tan Sitong's coffin arrived in Liuyang that he heard the news and rushed out. It was like a bolt from the blue. Li Run suddenly grabbed the ground and began to cry, feeling very sad. From then on, she stopped singing and writing poems and remained faithful to Buddhism.
Li Rundun realized that the responsibility of the survivors is still great, only sadness, to no avail. Instead, he restrained his feelings and tried to cheer up. It was born because Tan Sitong's prison poem "Endure Death and Treat Du for a Time" was renamed. In the future, Li Run will live up to his life and be strict and kind to his children's education and marriage. She is like the sister of her brother and sister-in-law. She keeps the family in good order and never slackens off. With her knowledge, inspired by Tan Sitong's spirit and encouraged by Tan Jixun, Li Run appeared as a female educator, and regarded wealth as a cloud and concentrated all her energy on running a school. She wears clothes and shoes, eats simple meals, guides school affairs every day, and often talks with teachers to discuss teaching problems. She instilled the concept of self-reliance in her students and got rid of the irony that women are parasites. It's late at night, and I'm still patrolling and taking care of the student dormitory.
Li Run is a philanthropist. Besides running a school, he also devotes himself to promoting social welfare. She saw that there was a serious phenomenon of abandoned baby and drowning baby in the society at that time, and she shouted loudly: Save the innocent little life! In addition to donating some money herself, she also inspired many people's sympathy, donated idle sacrifices one after another, set up a nursery bureau and formulated regulations. Send the poor to the foster care agency; Sub-poverty or partial foster care, or subsidies; The poorer ones are slightly subsidized. 1924, Li Run celebrated his 60th birthday. Kang Youwei and Liang Qichao also presented a horizontal plaque with the words "Perfect Man" and hung it in the hall of the former residence of "Dafu Land".
