Yangshan Vocational and Technical School offers majors: application of electromechanical technology, application of numerical control technology, operation and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, application and maintenance of automobiles, application of computer, application of electronic technology, computerized accounting, e-commerce, tourism service and management, and preschool education.

In order to further integrate the resources of vocational and technical education and adult training education, in August 2003, the CPC Yangshan County Party Committee and County People's Government decided that Yangshan Radio and TV University, Yangshan County Teachers' Further Education School and Yangshan County Vocational and Technical School should implement a "trinity" management model, collectively referred to as "Yangshan County Vocational Education Center School". As a result, the school has become a collection of academic education, professional and technical personnel continuing education and secondary vocational and technical education, academic education and skills training in one.
