Anne of the Green Gables Chapter 6: Mary takes Anne home and explains the wrong situation. Mary wants a boy, so she wants to send Annie back to the orphanage. Annie is sad, but she is helpless. Mrs Spencer said that Mrs Prut just wanted a girl, so she might as well give Anne to her.

As written in the book, she is a "bitch-faced little woman" and "a terrible worker and supervisor". Mary felt it a conscience to send Anne there.

Anne also made it clear that she would rather go back to the orphanage than to Mrs. Prut. At last, Mary decided to keep Anne. When they returned to the green gables, Matthew was very happy and said happily to Marilla that Anne would be an interesting little thing.

Profile of main characters in extended data:

Anne Shirley 1

A thin little girl has red hair and two braids, big bright eyes and freckles. He lost his mother when he was young, and his father died soon after. After many twists and turns, she was mistakenly adopted by an old brother and sister on Prince Edward Island and started a new life.

I like fantasy, and my imagination is very rich. I love nature, I can say whatever I want, and I often can't control my mouth, so I often do something wrong. The nature of loving beauty often makes jokes. I am frank, kind, hardworking and cherish my friendship. And named himself cordelia Shirley.

2. Marilla Cuthbert

Matthew Cuthbert's sister, the hostess of Green Gables' farmhouse. Her temper is very different from Matthew's. Marilla is a serious person, and her love for Anne is only reflected in the deepest part.

Annie's education is very strict, sometimes even a bit excessive, but I really like this little guy who loves to talk and fantasize. When Anne went to Queen College to study, one night, Marilla cried because she missed Anne. Because I love her, I am afraid that I will indulge her too much, so I unconsciously become very strict.
