Historical evolution:
Tianjin Education Admissions Examination Institute was formerly the office of the Admissions Committee of Tianjin ordinary colleges and universities, the office of Tianjin Higher Education Self-taught Examination Committee, the office of secondary schools and the office of Tianjin Adult Higher Education Admissions Committee, which were built in 1972, 1983 and 1984 respectively. 1992 adjustment of education entrance examination institutions, establishment of Tianjin Education Entrance Examination Center.
In 2000, with the approval of the Tianjin Municipal People's Government, Tianjin Education Entrance Examination Institute was established to manage the city's education entrance examination in a unified way.
