The lake in Hubei, Hunan refers to Dongting Lake, with Hubei in the north and Hunan in the south. Dongting Lake is located on the south bank of Jingjiang River in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. It can be roughly divided into three parts: East Dongting Lake, South Dongting Lake and West Dongting Lake.
