Brief introduction of work-study education
For young people who have committed illegal and minor crimes and are not suitable for education in ordinary schools, special education is provided through work-study programs. The fundamental purpose is to make these teenagers understand their mistakes, change their minds and become normal and active members of society through work-study programs. Doing a good job in work-study program education is conducive to preventing and reducing juvenile delinquency, maintaining social order, and turning negative social factors into positive ones.

/kloc-In the middle of the 0/8th century, the Swiss educator Pestalozzi founded an orphanage to teach students literacy and calculation while working, which was regarded as the pioneer of modern work-study education. Makarenko, an educator in the former Soviet Union, has founded Gorky Engineering Group and Telensky Children's Labor Commune successively since the 1920s, and has accumulated rich experience in work-study education. The first school in China to implement work-study education is Beijing Work-study School, which was established in 1955. China Reform School accepts 13- 18-year-old juvenile delinquents. On the premise of fully implementing the Party's educational policy, and in the spirit of "based on education, saving children, educating people scientifically and cultivating talents", we should actively heal the psychological trauma of juvenile delinquents, stimulate their self-esteem, make them truly understand and correct their mistakes, and finally train them into workers with socialist consciousness, certain scientific knowledge and production skills, law-abiding and healthy body.
