First, the level of college students themselves.
College students are in a confused period of life. Faced with multiple pressures, many students lack the confidence and courage they deserve, and the feeling of loss, fear and confusion arises at the historic moment. Students don't know what they should pursue, and how to establish correct life values and goals. The spiritual world is often in a vague or even vacuum state. At this time, those students who have not been guided and educated in time will tend to give themselves to mysterious and unknowable external forces (such as religion and superstition) in order to get rid of them; Moreover, college students in adolescence have a sense of curiosity. They grew up in the ideological indoctrination of Marxism-Leninism and mainstream ideology, so they have an ambiguous psychology towards religion. It is this curiosity that drives them to contact religion and gradually become a religious believer.
Second, the government and schools.
The government and schools should standardize and guide students' beliefs. It is found that about 70.4% of college students have never been exposed to the propaganda of China's religious policy, which directly affects the implementation of China's religious belief policy; On the other hand, the teaching method of "two courses" in colleges and universities is often a mere formality, which makes it difficult for the remaining faith education in colleges and universities to go deep into students' hearts and achieve the expected results.
Third, the social level.
China is in a period of social transformation. The social anomie and social structure reconstruction brought about by fierce social changes will inevitably lead to a series of social problems such as money worship and excessive gap between the rich and the poor. As a result, some students had a serious crisis of faith, began to doubt Marxism-Leninism, and then the religious dogma of persuading people to be good attracted their attention.
Fourth, religion itself.
Among the students in religious colleges, 24% believe that the unique cultural structure and charm of religion itself are the leading factors of their religious beliefs. In addition, the Bible itself is a historical classic, a literary work, a fairy tale, literary and story-telling, easy to understand (Buddhist scriptures are obscure), which is very appealing to some college students who are spiritually empty and lonely. From appreciation to acceptance, they believe in God.
Verb (the abbreviation of verb) makes some suggestions.
1. Religious essence education helps college students to understand the nature of religion. Religious morality itself is the result of secularization, absolutization, mystification and unilateralism of secular morality, and there is a relationship between them. Secondly, the role of religion in persuading people to be good is not its mainstream. Compared with the core content of religious morality, it is only secondary and derivative. For example, in _ _ "Believing in God, obeying God and worshiping God are the first principles of all religious ethics. It adjusts the relationship between man and god through the so-called creed of god and god, and minimizes the value of life. "
2. Strengthen the educational function of "two courses" and carry out effective ideological and political work in colleges and universities. In China, "Two Courses" is an important way to publicize Marxism-Leninism. Teachers who hold the "two courses" should earnestly perform their educational duties, strengthen their self-cultivation, optimize teaching methods, be close to students' body and mind, and fully embody the educational functions of the "two courses".
Secondly, college students will inevitably encounter all kinds of confusion. "Ideological positions, correct ideas will not be occupied, and wrong ideas will be occupied." If our ideological and political work education can timely intervene and guide students in the confused period, it can help them establish firm Marxist beliefs, otherwise, these students are more likely to throw themselves into the arms of religion.
3. Strengthen basic religious research and offer basic religious knowledge courses. It is under the single Marxist-Leninist education mode in China that some students have a strong sense of curiosity and mystery about religion, and then come into contact with religion and even become religious believers. If we can set up basic religious courses and strip off its mysterious cloak, let students know the essence of religion as soon as possible, so that when college students face religion again, they will not feel blind and ignorant, and they will be able to better resist its infiltration.
