My understanding of "normal school"
20 10 studied Chinese education in jining university. Our classroom is located in A306, the liberal arts building. Above the blackboard, there are eight Chinese characters: "Learn to be a teacher and run the world". When I accidentally read this sentence, I felt full of energy and immediately felt awe of my major and future career. Later, I learned that this sentence is the motto of Beijing Normal University. The original words came from Mr. Tao Xingzhi, a great educator. "Learn to be a teacher and be a teacher."

What makes me awe of the word "normal" is a word from teacher Li Qing. She said: "When you stand on the podium, forty or fifty pairs of children's eyes are looking at you. This is no small matter. " This sentence impressed me deeply, so every time I stand on the podium, I pay attention to the students' eyes and seem to hear many heartfelt voices. So I don't pay much attention to my appearance in my life, but every time I go to the podium, I will tidy it up.

Later, I went to Huazhong Normal University to study as a graduate student, and Liu Yun, a teacher from the College of Liberal Arts, gave us the course "Writing and Practice of Academic Papers". He complained more than once: "Now everyone can call teachers, actors and hosts teachers, which makes us all want to resign." I agree with half of what Teacher Liu said.

"Learning to be an excellent official", with good knowledge and much knowledge, can teach others work skills in a certain field or simply answer questions. You are knowledgeable. I should learn from you. I should call you teacher. From this perspective, I don't agree with Mr. Liu that "actors and hosts" can't be called teachers.

However, some teachers often only read the first half of the sentence-"learning to be excellent is to be an official." I think I am a big coffee in a certain field, then I can be a "teacher" and I can be a teacher.

Don't forget, there is the second half of the sentence "be a model." It is not difficult for some people to do the first half sentence, but it is difficult for most people to do the second half sentence.

Therefore, there are many so-called "mentors" and "judges" in various variety TV programs, which belittle and criticize some young people and even call names. I agree with Mr Liu Yun about these "teachers" in the entertainment circle. These people should think about what a normal school is. Can you be called a teacher?
