From June, 5438 to February, 2004, it was rated as the only "National Advanced Private" school in Nanjing by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

In 2002, after obtaining the Reply of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education on Confirming the Qualification of Accepting Foreign Students in Nanjing Private Bilingual School, the school set up a special international department to undertake the teaching and life of international students.
