"Fire" is inseparable from our life, and it can bring us a lot of convenience. But fire and water are ruthless, but children don't understand the harm of fire, and often play with fire behind adults' backs. Coupled with the coming summer vacation, children spend a long time at home alone. Children can play with fire without the care of adults. In order to strengthen children's understanding of the dangers of fire, I designed this activity to let children know the purpose of fire and know that improper use of fire will bring disaster to people, so as to reach a consensus: playing with fire is really dangerous, and we don't play with fire.

Activity process
First, introduce riddles to stimulate children's interest.
Wearing a red robe, you are really grumpy. Arouse a fire in my heart and jump eight feet high. (fire)
Let the children discuss the use of fire: it can help us cook, keep warm, set off fireworks, dry clothes, cook food and so on. Besides being good for us, is that fire harmful?
Please discuss the dangers of fire: fire can burn houses and furniture, fire can burn people, fire can burn forests and so on.
Second, understand the flammable items in life and the main fire sources in the home.
1, observe the small experiment "paper burning" to help children understand that some items are easy to ignite and know the fire source and flammable items.
The teacher lit the candle with a lighter, put a piece of paper on the candle, and let the children observe the burning process of the paper.
2. Question: What are the fire sources in our life? (Lighters, matches, firecrackers, mosquito-repellent incense) What can you burn? Paper, cotton, clothes, coal, gasoline, etc. )
Summary: We often have lighters, matches, gas stoves and other fire sources at home, as well as flammable items such as rags, paper, plastics and wood products. Fire can bring a lot of convenience to our life, but if it is not used properly, the fire doll will get angry and hurt us. So children can't play with fire.
Discuss what we should do if there is a fire. How to escape from the fire scene?
Summary: If there is a small fire, we can ask adults to put out the fire with water, wet cloth or fire extinguisher ... If there is a fire, you should call 1 19 for help and flee the scene quickly. Cover your mouth with a wet towel when you escape.
Third, fire escape drills.
Light waste paper in the classroom, let the children cover their mouths with wet towels quickly, the teacher put out the fire with a fire extinguisher, and the children quickly fled the scene according to the escape route.
Activity reflection
Through activities, children realized the danger of playing with fire, learned about flammable items in daily life, learned that they can't play with fire at home, and can quickly escape from the scene in case of fire, thus protecting their lives. Finally, what impressed the children most was the escape drill. We fled from the second floor to a safe place, and it only took 45 children 13 seconds.
