Zhejiang Wanli College, located in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, is a full-time undergraduate college sponsored by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, undertaken by Zhejiang Wan Li Education Group and approved by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is a new type of university that "public universities implement new management mode and operation mechanism", and it is a master's degree awarding unit, the chairman unit of the pilot unit alliance, the pilot demonstration school of applied construction in Zhejiang Province, the pilot university of Zhejiang Entrepreneurial University, and the member unit of CDIO Engineering Education Alliance.
The history of Zhejiang Wanli University can be traced back to the establishment of Ningbo Agricultural Technology School in Zhejiang Province in 1950, and then it went through the development stages of Zhejiang Agricultural University Ningbo Branch and Zhejiang Rural Technology Teachers College. 1999, Zhejiang Wan Li Education Group took over the management, and Zhejiang Rural Technical Teachers College was renamed Zhejiang Wan Li Vocational and Technical College; In 2002, it was renamed Zhejiang Wanli College.
