International admission requirements
If you want to apply for an undergraduate degree at Cambridge University, you need to be at the top of your grade group and do well in the subject you want to study.
Typical admission levels for a range of qualifications can be found in the main admission requirements section. The senior high school examination (NMET) itself is not considered as a suitable preparation for applying to Cambridge University. Any admission based on the College Entrance Examination (NMET) is based on individuals, but applicants usually need to get a score of 1%-2% before gathering fields. Other examples of qualifications that we think are suitable for admission to Cambridge University are A Levels, an international bachelor's degree or a prerequisite course. In some cases, our college may consider the application of students studying for the first year of undergraduate degree in universities outside the UK. We suggest that you directly contact the school you want to apply for for further advice and guidance.

Applicants from China:
Individual college entrance examination scores do not have an advantage when applying for Cambridge University. The college entrance examination is only the basic condition for China students to apply for Cambridge University. Cambridge University requires students to get the best results in the college entrance examination (former 1%-2% students). Other qualifications accepted by Cambridge University include grades in the Levels course, an international diploma, and the American College Foundation (AP). In addition, under some special circumstances, Cambridge University will also consider applicants who have received a one-year bachelor's degree program in other countries outside the UK. The school advises applicants to contact the relevant departments of the selected courses directly for further information and guidance.
English language requirements
If English is not your first language, then your English skills must be good enough for you to take an intensive and challenging academic course in English. Therefore, as part of your employment conditions, you may be required to meet one of the formal qualifications listed below.
Ielts? In general, the lowest total score is 7.5, and usually every element is 7.0 or above. Will accept IELTS academic or UKVI (academic) IELTS.
EU students? As part of the graduation examination (such as European/French bachelor's degree, Abitur, etc.), high scores in English are acceptable.
Cambridge English: Advanced? Grade a or b.
Cambridge English: proficiency? Grade a, b or c.
Singapore comprehensive plan? May be regarded as an acceptable English language qualification.
Oral English is also required to reach a reasonable level during the interview. For example, science with a total IELTS score of 6.0 or arts and social sciences with a score of 6.5 will be considered as a reasonable score when applying.
The University Language Center has set up the International Student Academic Development and Training (ADTIS) program for students whose mother tongue is not English. The aim is to help improve English language and academic skills related to the course through seminars and individual guidance. Participation in the program may be provided as a condition.

Ielts academic

Applicants who need a visa
Please note that the university accepts IELTS as evidence of UKVI, TOEFL, CAE and CPE as the English language for admission and Tier 4 visa guarantee purposes. The Ministry of the Interior stipulates that universities and other higher education institutions are allowed to choose their own English language proficiency assessment methods. The English language test does not need to be listed on the list of SELT Ministry of Interior (Safe English Language Test), because it only applies to students who want to study courses below degree level. If your entrance language requirements are met, you don't need to provide any further proof of English language ability in your visa application.
