Seeking so many beauties in Jiangshan, the creative background of this painting, the author's life experience and artistic conception
First, the creative background

1959, in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the newly-built Great Hall of the People needed a large-scale Chinese painting, and it was decided that it should be completed by Fu Baoshi and Guan Shanyue. The State Council approved Guo Moruo and Wu Han's suggestion: take the meaning of the word Qin Yuanchun written by Mao Zedong as the theme, and the theme is "There are countless beautiful mountains and rivers".

Chen Yi put forward: "To reflect the beauty of the country. We can see the snowy northwest plateau inside and outside the Great Wall, the rivers flowing up and down, and the lush land in the south of the Yangtze River and the East China Sea. Geography includes southeast and northwest, and seasonal changes include spring, summer, autumn and winter, which fully reflects the majestic momentum. " As for the expression "it must be sunny" in the painting,

Guo Moruo thinks: "It was written on a sunny day before liberation. Now that it has been 10 years since liberation, the sun has come out. " ? I think there should be waves rolling in the painting and a red sun rising. "The two men are in full swing, busy writing. After more than three months, they finished the first draft. When Zhou Enlai examined and approved, he proposed that the picture should be enlarged and the sun should be enlarged several times.

Fu Baoshi and Guan Shanyue immediately cut several suns, tried them, and finally chose the biggest one. Later, Mao Zedong wrote "There are so many beautiful mountains and rivers" on it and hung it in the Great Hall of the People.

Second, the author profile:

This is a huge colorful landscape painting created by China contemporary painters Fu Baoshi and Guan Shanyue in 1959.

1, Fu Baoshi (19041010.5-1965.9), the representative painters of "New Landscape Painting", were originally named Changsheng and Rui Lin, and they were the owners of Baoshizhai. Born in Nanchang, Jiangxi, his ancestral home is Xinyu, Jiangxi, and he is a modern painter. He studied in Japan in his early years and taught at Central University after returning to China. 1949, Professor of Nanjing Normal University, Dean of Jiangsu Traditional Chinese Painting Institute.

2. Guan Shanyue (1912.10.25—July 3, 2000), formerly known as Guan Zepei, was born in Yangjiang, Guangdong. China is a famous painter and educator. Representative of Lingnan School of Painting. Zeng studied under Gao, the founder of Lingnan Painting School.

1948 Professor of Guangzhou Art College. 1958, he served as professor and dean of Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts, president of Guangdong Art School and president of Guangdong Painting Academy. Vice Chairman and Executive Director of China Artists Association, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and Vice Chairman of Guangdong Artists Association.

Third, the artistic conception of the work:

The ancient Great Wall, the rushing Yellow River, the winding Yangtze River and Mount Everest on the roof of the world are all vividly painted. Among them, the Great Wall in Wan Li is a symbol of the long-standing culture of the Chinese nation, and the rising sun in Ran Ran shows the bright future of the new China. The painting seems to depict Mount Tai, Mount Hengshan, Mount Huashan, Mount Hengshan and Mount Songshan, but they are not exactly like the Five Mountains, all symbolizing the grandeur and vastness of the motherland.

Extended data:

1959 From July to September, there are so many beautiful women in Jiangshan that it will be completed in about two months. When the work is finished, it is 5.5 meters high and 7 meters wide. Later, under the guidance of Premier Zhou Enlai, the work was expanded to 6.5 meters high and 9 meters wide. Since then, the work has been hung in the welcome room of the Great Hall of the People.

More than 30 years later, due to the vicissitudes of time, the original picture of "there are so many beauties in the mountains" became yellow and old, and the picture was partially damaged by the leakage of rain. Moreover, due to the influence of airflow in the Great Hall of the People, cracks appeared in many places in the original. In view of this, the National People's Congress Standing Committee (NPCSC) leaders made a decision to copy a picture of "There are so many beauties in Jiangshan" and hang it up.

After repeated comparisons, the leaders of the Great Hall of the People decided that Rong Baozhai would take over the copying work. After copying, please ask Beijing landscape painter He He to identify the quality of copying. Both painters think that copying can be faithful to the original, which accurately shows the basic mental outlook of the original.

The relevant parties reported the relevant situation and the opinions of the two leaders to the relevant leaders of the central government, and the relevant leaders of the central government thought it could replace the original work. Experts in Rong Baozhai installed it carefully at once. After mounting, set up a shelf to hang the original in the Great Hall of the People. First, roll up the replica, paste a part from top to bottom, lay a part, and lay it bit by bit until it is completely laid.

So the replica of Rong Baozhai's "There are so many beauties in the country" began to replace the original in the welcome room of the Great Hall of the People, and continued to welcome guests at home and abroad. Later, Mr Guan Shanyue, one of the authors of the original painting, came to Beijing for a meeting. The leaders of the Great Hall of the People took the opportunity to ask him to identify the reproduction effect of the copy, which was also recognized by him.

So, in the summer of 1990, the original was quietly removed by the Great Hall of the People and replaced by a copy copied by Beijing Rong Baozhai. The original with great historical and artistic value was carefully collected by the Great Hall of the People. As this matter has not been announced to the public, this replica has gone through more than ten spring and autumn periods since it was hung, and it was not uncovered until the 2nd/kloc-0th century.
