What does the teaching achievement award mean?
Teaching Achievement Award is the highest award established by the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC) (China) to reward the collectives and individuals who have achieved teaching results, encourage educators to engage in educational research, and improve the teaching level and quality.

Teaching achievement awards are divided into national and provincial levels according to their role in improving teaching level and quality and realizing training objectives. The State Education Commission is responsible for the evaluation, approval and award of national teaching achievement awards; If the grand prize is awarded, it shall be reported to the State Council for approval.

Conditions for applying for the National Teaching Achievement Award

To apply for the National Teaching Achievement Award, the unit or individual holding the achievement shall apply to the education administrative department of the people's government of a province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government or the education administrative institution of the relevant department of the State Council according to the administrative affiliation, and the education administrative department or education administrative institution that accepts the application shall recommend it to the State Education Commission.

Units or individuals affiliated to relevant departments in the State Council may also apply to the education administrative departments of the local people's governments of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and the education administrative departments that accept the applications shall recommend them to the State Education Commission.
