The detailed interpretation of the new curriculum standard of compulsory education is the basic norm and quality requirement of the country for the basic education curriculum. This curriculum reform will transform the long-used syllabus into curriculum standards, which embodies the basic ideas advocated by the curriculum reform.

According to the Detailed Rules for the Implementation of School Registration Management for Primary and Secondary School Students (Trial) which has been officially implemented in Guangdong Province, schools should establish school registration files for students within 1 month from the date of enrollment, and the competent authorities should timely verify their school registration through the electronic student status system. The student registration number is generated on the basis of the student's resident identity card number, one for each person and unchanged for life.
