Graduates of general higher education enrollment plan are referred to as ordinary college graduates for short. The most typical feature is that the graduation certificate is marked with the words "graduation certificate of ordinary colleges and universities".

Ordinary high school and technical secondary school graduates belong to the general enrollment plan. Graduates from vocational high schools, vocational secondary schools and other specialties are not included in the enrollment plan of ordinary high schools and secondary schools, and they are not graduates of the ordinary enrollment plan.
