Continuing education cycle
The duration of continuing education for second-level construction engineers is three years, and that for cost engineers is two years.
Extra continuing education
Additional registrants must complete 10 hours of additional continuing education every year within the validity period of registration. For example, the validity period of a cost engineer is four years, and 20 hours of continuing education must be completed every two years, with an extra 10 hours, totaling 30 hours.
Continuing education time
Continuing education is subject to the validity of the registration certificate, and so is the addition. For example, if you receive the certificate of cost engineer on 20 12 1, and it is newly approved on 20 13, then your certificate will be valid from 201-20161. During this period, you must complete the continuing education twice, totaling 60 hours.
