At the end of the Qing Dynasty, foreign aggression rose again and again, unequal treaties were signed again and again, and land was ceded with compensation. It's hard to make a living, everything is depressed and customs are getting worse. After taking office, Yin Changling not only set up education, but also emphasized industry, advocated agricultural weaving, taught sericulture, established Fengxiangfu sericulture school at the address of the old examination institute, established a craft factory in Dongguan, and hired Sichuan teachers to give lectures and spread art. Recruit 100 apprentices, schools and factories use each other, and combine theory with practice. And the old folk loom is studied and improved, so as to produce wide plain cloth and striped cloth and weave silk fabrics such as silk, crepe, twill and satin, which has played a very good role in improving weaving. The fabrics produced are of good quality and sold to the whole province. Phoenix silk and cocoon are well known.
Yin Changling believes that in order to develop the silk industry, people must be aroused to raise silkworms, which must first grow enough mulberry trees. It's because (lack of words) Lake bought back a large number of mulberry trees and mulberry seeds for people to plant "more than a dozen" until the land was reclaimed for large-scale production after liberation. More importantly, tens of thousands of mulberry trees were planted in yamen, county government and open places, which opened up a new situation for Fengxiang industry. Unfortunately, during the Revolution of 1911, sericulture schools and craft factories were destroyed by the war, and the thriving new business unexpectedly aborted, which was really sad.
When Yin Changling was an official, it was his duty to follow the rules. Every time he is in public, he is often careless. He disrespected his parents for his son, disrespected his brother for his brother, and bullied the weak. Those who fight, gamble, smoke, extort money, dress in fancy clothes and do nothing will be summoned and severely reprimanded once they are found, and even punished if the circumstances are serious. As a result, all the men, women and children loitering in the street, lazy and chatting by the door, avoided seeing "Lord Yin" when they heard that he was coming. Its spirit of forbidding violence and striving for governance can be seen here. After leaving office, Shu Ren Wilder erected a monument as a souvenir.
