Russian poetess in the Soviet Union. CPSU party member (since 1943). Poetry published in 19 10. In her early works, we can see the characteristics of her mature works: rich life interest, cynicism, elegance and calmness. Goals and Road (1925) and Dedicated to the Dead Son (1927) reflect the poet's enthusiasm and interest in the creativity of the new society. In the mid-1920s, Ember came into contact with artists of constructivism (also known as "structuralism"). At that time, she tried and demonstrated her talents as a journalist, feature writer and prose writer. The collection of poems "In a Low Voice" (1932) has made an in-depth observation and research on people's inner world, showing a new kind of interpersonal relationship. During the Great Patriotic War, Ember was in the besieged Leningrad. She portrayed the heroic Yugoslav capital with great artistic power, and wrote a collection of poems, Thinking of Leningrad (1942) and a long poem, Meridian of Pulkovo (1943), which won the Soviet State Award 1946. Post-war works include April (1960), Inspiration and Skills (1957) and Time Questionnaire (197 1).
Ember is a thoughtful, calm and prudent poetess. Her poetic style is rigorous and rational. In his works, the poet expressed his subtle views on the relationship between man and the times. Ember also wrote many famous poems and essays for children. Her works have been translated into German, Finnish and Serbian. He was awarded three medals and various medals.
