Vocational Education Research is a research-oriented monthly magazine on the theory and application of vocational education sponsored by Tianjin Vocational and Technical Normal University (formerly Tianjin Engineering Normal University). The magazine was founded in July 1982. At that time, the publication was called "Vocational Education Research Materials". When it was published in 1985, it was renamed as Vocational Education Research. 1994 changed its name to modern skill development. In 2004, the subject of "Vocational Education Research" was resumed.
