Characteristics of enrollment rate
The enrollment rate is the ratio of the number of students in school to the population of a certain age. The part of the population that should be enrolled corresponding to the current local academic system and the prescribed school age is called the school-age population, and the proportion of students in the school-age population is the school-age population enrollment rate. It marks the corresponding degree of education popularization among the school-age population.
In actual statistics, the beginning of the school year is generally used as the statistical time standard. The formula is: school-age population enrollment rate = number of school-age population students at the beginning of the school year/number of school-age population at the beginning of the school year × 100%. If the age of students is not considered, the ratio of the number of students in school to the corresponding school-age population is taken.
