University study:
Modern distance education in our college implements credit system and flexible learning years. College takes the lead in establishing an electronic library among the national online colleges, with 75,000 e-books for students to read or download for free, which provides convenience for learners to choose their own learning time and learning methods. The learning process is as follows: students log on to the online elective course to learn BBS/ voice Q&A/online courseware, and the off-campus learning center gives face-to-face counseling to the teachers who take the exam, and logs on to check the results online. After completing the credits specified in the teaching plan, you can apply for graduation. The minimum graduation period for obtaining the graduation certificate is based on the minimum study period for adult higher education related majors published by Beijing. Undergraduate students who have completed all their studies within the specified time can apply for a bachelor's degree according to the corresponding conditions.
The off-campus learning center is responsible for teaching guidance, experiment or internship, and the final exam of the course is organized by the headquarters. The examination places are located in the off-campus learning centers in all provinces. Students can apply for some courses in the exemption teaching plan according to the Regulations on the Management of Student Status of Modern Distance Education College of Beijing Institute of Technology. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education, students enrolled after March 2004 1 must take the national unified examination of three public courses: English, Computer Foundation and Advanced Mathematics (or College Chinese). Students who meet the following conditions may be exempted from taking the national unified online education public course examination during their study:
1, with a bachelor's degree or above in national education series (including undergraduate courses), can be exempted from all subjects of the unified examination;
2. Except for students majoring in computer science, those who have obtained the certificate of Grade B or above in the National Computer Rank Examination may be exempted from the "Computer Application Foundation";
3. Except for English majors, those who have obtained PETS-4 and above certificates and Public English Testing System -3 and above certificates may be exempted from taking College English;
4. Non-English majors who have reached the age of 40 at the time of enrollment are exempt from the College English;
5. Except for English majors, ethnic minority students with household registration in ethnic minority areas (the definition of ethnic minorities is based on the standards in the national unified examination document collection of some public basic courses of online education in pilot universities) can be exempted from taking the College English exam.
