Scores are not the lifeblood.
In fact, it is not students who really regard grades as their lifeblood, but parents and teachers. Some parents and teachers' pursuit of grades is far more than trouble, even to the point of being almost morbid. The author believes that parents' over-emphasis on scores is a deformed utilitarian view of education.

Score is not equal to ability.

Scores can be a magic weapon to win further studies, but they do not represent ability and accomplishment, let alone career success. Scores are just a single way for schools to evaluate academic exam results.

Achievements do not represent the future.

According to a survey, many "top students" in primary schools will fade out of the ranks of outstanding students after entering high schools and universities, while some students with average grades tend to perform better.

The score consciousness needs to be diluted.

If everyone wants to get high marks, they have to go through repeated exam-taking training, which will inevitably suppress children's nature and kidnap their happy childhood. Parents and schools should re-examine their education, downplay their sense of achievement, attach importance to students' all-round development, and never label students with poor grades as "poor students" at will.

Cultivate a sound personality

It is most important to cultivate children's sound personality, noble morality, positive and healthy attitude towards life and tireless enthusiasm for learning.

Education policy needs to take root.

Relevant departments should strengthen the implementation of education policies, let the green education quality evaluation mechanism take root and be deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and truly guarantee the happiness of children throughout their lives.
