Early Qing education
In ethics education, traditional education puts justice and benefit and reason and desire in opposition. In view of the prejudice of traditional education, Yan Yuan inherited and developed the thought of martial arts in the Southern Song Dynasty, and clearly put forward the proposition that "righteousness must be beneficial and merit can be counted". He believes that "righteousness" and "benefit" are not diametrically opposed, but can be unified. Benefit is the basis of righteousness, and the aims of righteousness and Ming Dow are to benefit and calculate merit. Of course, "profit" cannot be separated from "righteousness", and "profit" must conform to "righteousness". This view has impacted the traditional imprisonment, and made a new trend in the understanding of the relationship between righteousness and benefit in ancient China.
