In other words, if you fail to pass CET-4 and CET-6, it will not affect your graduate application. Postgraduate entrance examination-preliminary examination stage

In the initial stage, except for a few cases, there is basically no clear requirement for CET-4 and CET-6 scores in colleges and universities. Some schools include CET-4 and CET-6 scores in the application conditions for undergraduates with the same academic level or self-taught exams and online education. For example, Nankai University and Wuhan University enrolled master students in 2020, both of which stated the requirements for Band 4.

Postgraduate entrance examination-retest stage

In the re-examination stage, many colleges and universities will include the results of CET-4 and CET-6 in the scope of investigation, which may be included in the re-examination results, or may be used as a plus item for interview assessment.
