Teaching and educating people means that teachers should consciously combine teaching and educating people in the process of education and teaching according to the needs of social development and the laws of students' physical and mental development, do their duty, not only impart scientific and cultural knowledge, but also carry out ideological and moral education, so as to cultivate students into "four haves" with all-round development in morality, intelligence and physique. Teaching and educating people are inseparable unity, and they interact, penetrate and complement each other. However, we should be soberly aware that "education" is fundamental because it contains people's hopes and embodies people's value orientation. Therefore, "teaching" is at the technical level, "teaching" is at the value level, and the latter gives meaning to the former.
