Parents want their pets to do as they are told, obedient and not destructive. Only through training can cats form good habits. For cat training, parents should start training when cats are very young, but each cat's personality and temper are different, so parents should choose the most suitable way to train.
1. induction training:
The owner can use food, articles or the owner's actions to induce the cat to make correct actions, and the induction training method is more suitable for training young cats.
2. Compulsory training:
Forcing refers to the way that the owner forces the cat to make the corresponding action accurately. For example, when training a cat to lie down, the owner needs to force the cat to lie down with his hands while giving the "lie down" command, so that after repeated training several times, the cat can quickly respond to the "lie down" command, and when the owner gives the "lie down" command, the cat will automatically lie on the ground. When the owner trains the cat in this way, he should take into account the cat's own personality habits. Cats like a gentle way, eating soft food rather than hard food. The more fierce the master's orders are, the less the cat will carry them out.
3. Incentive training:
After the cat makes the correct action, the owner can give the cat appropriate rewards. The main purpose is to strengthen the habit of cats to accept orders and make correct actions, and to consolidate the conditioned reflex that cats have formed. The host's rewards include food, praise and caress. Reward and coercion must be combined to be effective, and appropriate rewards should be given immediately after forcing cats to make correct actions. The degree of reward should be gradually upgraded with the difficulty of training. It should be noted that the owner's rewards are too frequent or the conditions are too low, which is easy to develop the cat's psychological habit of not paying attention to secondary rewards and can't stimulate the cat's training enthusiasm.
4. Punishment training:
Once cats are found to have some bad habits, they should be punished in time. The methods of punishment include: yelling, beating, etc. For example, if a cat does something bad, it can be punished with a water gun, or loudly say "no" to the cat. It takes a period of training to make the cat's orders to its owner accurate. The owner must be very patient and repeat the command over and over again, until the cat is very familiar with your command, the owner will be considered successful.
