Education and the cultivation of educational view
Training is an activity aimed at people's quality and ability. There are various activities to cultivate people, which can be roughly divided into two categories. One is activities that can directly affect people's quality and ability, such as education, training and learning. The other kind is to support and help the former kind of activities, rather than activities that directly affect people's quality and ability, such as parents' efforts, conditions and financial assistance for their children's learning and growth. Although education has a unique and important role and significance in the process of cultivating people, it cannot completely replace the role and significance of other training activities. We might as well apply an old saying to express the relationship between education and training-education is not everything, but it is absolutely impossible without education.

Training activities can exist in the form of social activities or personal activities, which is called self-training. Self-cultivation includes self-study, self-exercise, self-cultivation and self-reflection. Some people call self-cultivation "self-education", but it is not directly related to education, because education, as an information transmission activity between people, cannot exist in the form of individual activities. This example shows that at some point, people regard the word education as self-cultivation.

In modern Chinese dictionaries, the word training includes two concepts: education and training. So strictly speaking, education is only a part of training, not the whole training. But on many occasions, people have become accustomed to equating education with training. For example, the legal norms known as the education law involve all aspects of training people, not just education. Therefore, when people encounter the word education, they should distinguish the concept and category of its use. If the concept of education is vague, it may bring trouble to understanding education and discussing education.
