Language education
Educator Montessori believes that language is an instinct endowed by nature, but it also has some parts beyond nature. Adults around children don't deliberately teach children language, but human language is like the most beautiful music in the world for infants and young children. There is a spontaneous force in a child's life. When they can't express and move freely, language begins to be absorbed and stored.

Language Sensitive Period (0 ~ 6 years old) Understand the child's language sensitive period When a child begins to look at an adult's mouth and make babbling sounds, his language sensitive period begins. Learning a language is a big project for parents, but it is easy for children to learn their mother tongue because children have natural language sensitivity.

When children are in a sensitive period, they will pay more attention to the surrounding environment. When children's inner activities come into contact with the environment, consciousness comes into being. The initial state of these consciousness is unclear, they are chaotic, but through exercise, they will eventually become clear until they can reach the position of creative thinking. In terms of language expression, in the initial period, when different sounds reach children's ears, these sounds appear in a mixed way. Although the child can't tell what these sounds are, he knows what sounds he is interested in, such as language and music. Gradually, they can distinguish different sounds and their tongues are more flexible than before. He will be happy when he can look up at the speaker and keep his eyes fixed on the speaker's lips. This is the power of sensitive times. Although children are unconscious, they know what sounds they like, and they know that their favorite sounds can come from closed lips. This power is more brilliant than any educational means. Therefore, parents should take advantage of their children's sensitive period and let them listen and watch more. When talking to children, let them see your lips, so that they can learn to speak more easily. Parents should always talk to their children, pay attention to the accuracy of pronunciation, strengthen their children's expressive ability, and lay a good foundation for future interpersonal relationships. The key point of language learning is to absorb the language first and then imitate it.

Children aged 0-6 have no difficulty in learning languages, and they are in a sensitive period. Correctness is the most important. Therefore, parents should pay attention to the following points:

1. To determine whether a child's hearing is good, a hearing test should be conducted after the child is born.

2. Ensure that the neuromuscular development of the vocal organs is good, give children ample opportunities to suck and chew, and often talk face to face with children.

3. Guide children's willingness to communicate with the environment, and affirm their voice and meaning from the dialogue.

4. Speak slowly to children, with clear mouth and clear voice. Let the children be in a language environment full of adult communication, give them the correct language for every routine thing and thing in life, and take the trouble to tell them.

6. Avoid imitating children's wrong sentences. When the child can't speak clearly, don't imitate it for any reason, which will hinder the child from learning the correct language. Don't blame your child face to face when he says something wrong, which will make him feel frustrated and unwilling to study.

0 ~ 8 months: Pre-language understanding stage. Children in this age group are preparing for language development through spontaneous babbling.

9 ~ 12 months: language understanding stage. A lot of language stimulation and guidance is very important for children's real language acquisition. 13 ~1June: with words and sentences. Children have begun to master vocabulary and their ability to understand language has been enhanced. 17 ~ 24 months: simple sentence stage. Children have mastered more basic daily vocabulary and can also combine simple sentences into simple compound sentences.

25 ~ 32 months: complex sentence stage. Children begin to learn to use language to evaluate people and things, and they can also use language to carry out the simplest organizational activities.

33 ~ 48 months: self-speech stage. Children are especially willing to talk to others. They can master rich vocabulary and increase the number of complex sentences.

4 ~ 6 years old: the development stage of children's comprehensive language ability. The development of children's language is mainly manifested in the mastery of pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and language expression ability.

3 ~ 6-year-old children's language ability development goal table

In the process of studying the history of human development, historians once thought that the cultural development of primitive people was extremely slow. In fact, primitive people have been living a hard life, but their hearts have been changing. After a period of rapid development, they will enter a slow and almost stagnant stage. As long as they accumulate enough energy, they will develop rapidly again. Such a development is difficult for the naked eye to detect. A similar phenomenon is very similar to what happened during children's language learning. After long-term observation, psychologists have found that the most ups and downs in children's language learning process are between 3 months and 2 years old. The process of learning a language is not step by step. Three months ago, they might not say anything, but one day three months later, they suddenly shouted to their mother that they were hungry. After that, they will learn to use all kinds of nouns and verbs at an amazing speed, and the suffixes and prefixes are fluent. This situation is called "explosion phenomenon" by psychologists. This phenomenon is completely natural, not taught by parents. The language "explosion" will last until the child is 2 years old.

Degeneration of language

The process of children's language learning has stages, and the biggest feature of this stage is that there will be different forms of decline in the later stage of each stage. Just like the tide, when the tide rises, the sea water will flow backwards in an instant. This is inevitable in the process of improving children's language mechanism. The most common thing is that children can't pronounce correctly or even stutter. Accurately speaking, the "stuttering" of children aged 4-6 is not a real stuttering. With the growth of age, when children's vocabulary, speech speed and thinking can be accurately linked, stuttering will naturally disappear. In this special period, it is necessary for parents to provide a relaxed and free language environment and space for their children, and at the same time, relax their requirements and help their children successfully through the special stage of stuttering.

Children's "psychological aphasia"

There are many children who haven't broken out of language at a certain age, so their psychology must be hurt or hindered in some way, so that they can't express the language they have learned. For example, when some children are three years old or three and a half years old, they still use words used by younger children, but their language organs are normal. This is called "psychological aphasia". This is entirely caused by its psychology, which is a mental illness. Parents and teachers need full encouragement to treat such children. As long as they are provided with a free environment, they will soon find that he can express himself fluently.
