China Medical Student Oath, commonly known as Medical Student Oath, was promulgated by the State Education Commission of the People's Republic of China (now the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC)) in 199 1 and implemented in medical colleges and universities all over the country.

The Medical Student Pledge is the only known code of conduct for medical students promulgated and implemented by China authorities. The oath of medical students in China actually absorbed some main spirits of the Hippocratic oath and the Geneva Declaration.

I sincerely think,

Swear before God and the congregation:

A lifetime of purity and loyalty.

Don't do anything harmful,

Do not take or use harmful drugs.

Strive to improve the level of nursing,

Be careful of the patient's housework and secrets.

Wholeheartedly assist doctors in diagnosis and treatment,

Work for the welfare of patients.
