Changsha Radio and TV University school profile
In June 2006, Changsha Municipal Government and Changsha Municipal Education Bureau decided to allocate the original campus of Changsha Experimental Primary School (about 7,000 square meters) located in the central business district of Wuyi Square to Changsha Radio and TV University (now Shunxingqiao Campus). After more than half a year's transformation, Shunxingqiao Campus has taken on a new look. On April 18, 2007, RTVU held a lively and grand opening ceremony for the new campus. Nie Ronghua, secretary of the Party Committee of hunan radio and tv university, Yu Hequan, inspector of Changsha Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Yao Wuling, vice chairman of CPPCC in Changsha, leaders of the Municipal Education Bureau, leaders of brother colleges and representatives of teachers and students attended the celebration, and witnessed this exciting moment with RTVU. Peng Xin, director of the Municipal Education Bureau, Yu Hequan, inspector of Changsha Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Nie Ronghua, secretary of the Party Committee of Power-saving University, made speeches successively, expressing heartfelt congratulations to RTVU and cordial condolences to all the faculty members who have worked hard and taught people for a long time. With the official opening of the new campus, the school has added more than 6,000 square meters of campus area, 42 classrooms, 36 offices, large and small conference rooms and 4 lecture halls, forming a school-running pattern of north and south campuses (Shunxingqiao Campus and Liu Zheng Street Campus), which has solved the contradiction that the lack of campus area has affected the school's scale and development for a long time. Changsha Radio and TV University people's long-cherished wish to expand the campus area and improve school conditions for many years has finally come true!
